Mission
ASTEROID XRPL is an independent, transparent, creative, community-driven project on the XRP Ledger. Following a community takeover effective 23 June 2026, the project is developed under Ludovic XRPL’s approval authority with a proof-before-promises approach: ledger claims are supported by on-chain evidence, changing metrics are timestamped, and third-party affiliations are never implied without verification.
Flight history
Organizational history and technical ledger proof are two different things. Every entry below says which one it is.
The ASTEROID currency is created on XRPL Mainnet by the issuing account. The initial issuance transaction is revalidated live in the Ledger hub, along with the original intended issuance figure.
A regular key is set on the issuer and the master key is disabled. Both transactions are anchored on-chain. The Ledger hub checks every known signing path live rather than asserting a label.
ASTEROID XRPL becomes an independent, community-led project. Development continues under Ludovic XRPL's approval authority, with a proof-before-promises approach to every public claim.
Project-held ASTEROID is placed into escrow objects on the project-declared treasury account, each with its own unlock date. The escrows and their amounts are read directly from the ledger.
ASTEROID DASH, the ledger transparency hub, the public MCP endpoint and the mission logs are shipped and maintained in the open. Roadmap items are labelled by real status, never presented as finished.
Method
Supply, escrows, AMM state and issuer security are read from the validated XRP Ledger on request. Each value ships with a UTC observation time, the ledger index it came from, the methodology used and a link you can follow.
No live figure is hard-coded into this site. If the ledger cannot be reached, the page says so instead of showing a stale number as if it were current.
A wallet the project says is its treasury is labelled project-declared. What the ledger proves is which objects exist on it. We do not let one stand in for the other.
We never suggest a relationship with a third party we cannot verify. There are no invented partnerships, endorsements, team credentials or charity relationships anywhere on this site.
Independence
ASTEROID XRPL is not an official mascot or project of Ripple, XRP, the XRPL Foundation, SpaceX or Polaris Dawn. It is not a charity or a charitable fundraiser. It is not the same asset as an ASTEROID token on another network, is not bridged to one and is not redeemable for one.
